T-Levels HE Progression

What are they?

T-Levels are a new type of technical qualification designed for after GCSEs. They have been designed alongside employers to help young people meet the needs of industry and prepare them for work.

Key info:

T-Levels are two-year courses.

They are equivalent to three A-Levels.

How will you learn: 80% classroom learning, 20% industry placement.

Placements are at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days).

In year 1 you study the core of your subject and will complete specialist learning in year 2 whilst completing your placement.

T-level routes include: skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship.

  • Digital: Digital Production, Design and Development
  • Health: Supporting the Adult Nursing team
  • Science: Assisted Healthcare
